At the core of our expertise is a unique 2D/3D/color imaging engine that provides accurate size, shape and color information for randomly-oriented, fast-moving objects. This software is used in all our systems and is what sets the standard. The software is what differentiates a Montrose system from everything else. It has been developed over almost 30 years and is continually updated with new features and advanced applications. It is what ensures that every product is identified, analyzed and, if necessary, individually removed from the product stream.

Our software has over 100 different measurements that provide fast, flexible and reliable product analysis. It is easy to use on the plant floor, has unlimited product types and is accurate and repeatable. Some of the measurements available include:

• 2D: diameter, area, roundness, length, width, etc.
• 3D: heights, slopes, volume, flatness, symmetry, etc.
• Colors: average, edge, topping, foreground, etc.
• Formulas: user-defined equations
• Templates: compare shape of object to a 'learned' template
• Blobs: find and measure contiguous height and color features

Envision provides fast and easy access to data collected from any Inspection System and includes automatic report generation and the ability to produce a wide variety of pre-defined charts such as histograms, scatter, line and pareto. Envision's ability to create unlimited 'scheduled' reports such as Daily Production Reports, Monthly Shift Reports, and Weekly Summaries means that you can have any one or all of these reports delivered to your email inbox as a PDF attachment to or from anywhere in the world.
