Anton Kitai - President

Anton has held several leadership positions in industries that provide advanced manufacturing equipment to high volume production environments.  He was a founder of Process Photonics, a supplier of laser and vision equipment to the semiconductor, electronics, and medical industries, where he held the position of President since 2002.  Responsibilities have included corporate and technical leadership of multi-disciplinary research and development teams responsible for complete product life cycle from conceptual design through engineering, test, transfer into production, and sustaining support.  He is highly knowledgeable in the areas of materials processing, lasers, optics, vision systems, machine design and component integration while being focused on near and long-term market and technology positioning through customer relationships.  He has managed scientists and technicians involved in new systems R&D and sustaining engineering while developing key technology and patent strategies for the business.  Anton holds a B.Eng. in Engineering Physics from McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario.

Robert Parker – VP Engineering & Operations 

During a period of 21-years Robert has worked in the field of Electrical Engineering, Engineering Management and Operations Management.  Most recently as VP of Engineering & Operations at Process Photonics, a manufacturing company that builds advanced laser processing machines for the factory floor.  Prior to that he worked at GSI Lumonics were he hired, mentored and managed a team of electrical, hardware and software engineers and technologists in a matrix product development team structure.  His responsibilities included providing technical leadership, leading new product development teams and performing detailed electronic and electrical design projects.  Throughout his career Robert has gained expertise and contributed in the following areas: business processes, operations management, project management, product development, control systems, laser & vision system design, machine design, safety standards compliance, design for manufacturability and customer service and support.  Robert graduated with a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan in 1987.

Peter Wakeman - COO

Peter has over 25 years experience in leading teams in the product development and custom system environment.  As the Custom Systems manager for GSI Lumonics back in the 1990s his team (many of which are presently at Montrose Technologies) grew the business from a start-up to a multi-million dollar product line.  In 2000 Peter went on to several management roles at JDS Uniphase where he was instrumental in the start up and growth of their systems and custom development programs.  Peter's background is in mechanical engineering, and with his experience, drive and customer focused approach, he is ideally suited in his role with Montrose Technologies.

Geoff Evans - Director of Sales

Geoff has been working with our customers since early 2005 and has been heavily involved in the successful introduction of vision technology to the tortilla market and extended inspection from high speed bun lines to bread loaf manufacturing lines.  With over 20 years of industry experience, he has provided sales development expertise to a number of Canadian and American organizations in the telecommunications, manufacturing and technology sectors. Geoff has won top sales awards in domestic and international business to business sales and provides a wealth of direct sales and channel management experience to the company.  Geoff's background is in marine biology and computer science.
